Facing political corruption head-on in New Jersey, she brings proven experience navigating dense government bureaucracy and standing as a fearless, singular voice in a sea of partisan opposition. Unfazed by political pressure, Leguía remains relentlessly committed to breaking down state control and restoring true liberty to the people.
Lana is a political organizer, activist, and community leader whose rich global heritage and background drive her commitment to liberty. Born in Saudi Arabia—the great-granddaughter of former Peruvian President Augusto B. Leguía and daughter of Vietnam-era Air Force veterans—she was raised in a family defined by military service and resilience. Inspiring her worldview, her mother defied local prohibitions to open a dance studio in Saudi Arabia, where public dancing was illegal. Homeschooled alongside her brother (now a Navy Lieutenant Commander), Leguía spent time in Texas working as a personal trainer, EMT, and fitness instructor before settling in Sussex County, New Jersey with her husband, whose family operates the historic Black Forest Inn.
Lana works with a deep commitment to her local community through volunteer efforts with the Canal Society of New Jersey and historical societies. Outside of activism, she is a preservation breeder, trainer, and musher of Siberian Huskies, while also raising chickens and rabbits at her home in Sussex County.
